Lens Academy is aimed to empower school students with the skill of photography for which we started approaching schools with our unique offering.
In this process our important step was to send informative, readable and exciting emails to schools to develop their interest in our offering.
We did a lot of research on the available options but there were big and small limitations with most of them. Then we found cloudHQ and Mail Chimp, which have itself beautiful templates for all your needs.
We started using cloudHQ gmail email templates and started approaching schools. Then we came to know another very exciting and useful feature, that we can design our own HTML template for email, and can fully use that code in MailChimp and cloudHQ to create our customized templates. This feature just changed and eased our life. We created our own very customized templates, uploaded on MailChimp and started approaching schools.
We found this whole concept of creating customized template, uploading it on MailChimp, accessing these templates from GMail account’s Compose new email window, easy, useful and above all very reliable.
The setup process is very easy and can be done in few minutes. And booom, you are ready to either use available huge range of email templates, or create your own and upload.
Interface on Gmail compose new email screen is very simple and easy to use. Just click on it and you can see Plain email templates, MailChimp templates, and if you have uploaded your own HTML templates, you can easily choose them.
We have created quite complex email templates in HTML and found that this system sends the same mail which we have designed. It doesn’t alter it at all, while we tested few other systems too and they don’t work that efficiently, some emails got distorted. But clouHQ with MailChimp, excellent.
